The distribution center is operated by an all volunteer staff who drive the eleven (11) trucks, receive donated items delivered to the dock, prepare donated merchandise for distribution to the needy, and do the myriad of tasks necessary to keep up with this important work.
Working the entire 4 hour shift is preferred but whatever time a volunteer can give would be appreciated. Check in with the manager on duty upon arrival for your assignment for the day.
SJA is asked to provide volunteers on the following days: 3/6, 4/17, 6/5, 7/10, 8/21, 10/2, 11/13, 1/8/11 although your help would be welcome any time during the week as well. Contact the distribution center directly at 687-8258 or info@svdpindy.org for more information.
